Greetings.  I live at Dragon's Eye Farm on the eastern tip of Hawai'i, and have been involved with two partners (Kaika and Maya'ag) in designing, constructing and running an aquaponics system since summer, 2009.  That Fall, Benny Ron, Aquaculture Dean at the UH, organized a Goodwill Tour of the Big Island which I offered to drive with our 10 seat van.  Over two days, we visited every known operating aquaponics system on the east side.  I wasn't able to attend the West side tour. 

From those 10 or so sites, I have chosen three to four to include in a one day aquaponics van tours of the Big Island that happen every six weeks.  This tour is recommended for anyone who is seriously interested in building a larger aquaponics installation.  See below for details.
